Summer Fundraising Event
Bring the whole family for a fun-filled afternoon! Learn more about Senegalese culture while enjoying free food, beverages and activities (face painting and hair braiding) followed by a new, fun main event that is certain to drum up support. We’ll have a silent auction for a chance to win some fabulous prizes such as four Twins tickets (valued at $500).
Mbagnick (Ponge) Diouf will share what has already been accomplished as well as his vision for the future of Sunu Foundation – a nonprofit organization devoted to helping the children in Senegal reach their dreams by supporting their educational needs.

Sunu means “our” in Ponge’s native Wolof. His hope for the foundation is that it is, in fact, “our” foundation. Ponge needs “our” help as he works to make this dream a reality.
During this event, Ponge will share his compelling personal story and his plan to connect with the children of Senegal to help provide for their educational needs.
